Citizen Privacy & Geospatial Data”
Presented by: John Palatiello, MSS Executive Director

Government agencies are increasingly seeking to regulate business that collect, store, use or disseminate "precise geolocation data" about individual citizens in an effort to protect privacy.  This could have an adverse affect on the ability of surveyors working with address and parcel information, among other data.  Learn about these regulatory and statutory limits, as well as a new professional best practices guideline that you can use to enhance compliance with such government edicts.
