CHAPTER_______
1 AN ACT concerning
2 Garrett County - Subdivision Plats - Recordation
3 FOR the purpose of allowing subdivision plats of specified alternative sizes to be filed
4 with the clerk of the court for recording among the land records of Garrett
5 County; and providing an exception concerning single lot plats that are suitable
6 for recording in the same manner as other land record instruments.
7 BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
8 Article - Real Property

11 (1996 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement)
12 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
13 MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
14 Article - Real Property
15 3-108.
16 (h) (1) In Garrett County the size of the sheet (plat) shall be 11 BY 17
17 INCHES, 18 by 24 inches, OR 24 BY 36 INCHES, including a one and one-half inch
18 margin for binding along the left edge. When more than one sheet is required, an
19 index sheet of the same size shall be submitted showing the entire subdivision drawn
20 to scale.
21 (2) THIS SUBSECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO SINGLE LOT PLATS SUITABLE FOR
22 RECORDING IN THE SAME MANNER AS OTHER LAND RECORD INSTRUMENTS.

2 October 1, 1999.
