On Saturday November 4, 2017 the Baltimore Chapter Bull and Oyster Roast returned from several years off, after being an annual event for more than twenty years.  It was a beautiful day, and colleagues, spouses, and coworkers spent the time making new friends, sharing “war” stories, and enjoying the great food provided by Professional Touch Caterers.

In addition, many of them participated in the Survey Skills Competition testing their abilities against one another.  Congratulations to the winners of the events:

  •       Pacing – Cale Williams
  •       Estimate the Bearing – Pat Simon
  •       Estimate the invert – Bryan Haynie
  •       Estimate the slope – Ed Smith
  •       Guess how many tacks – Mike James
  •       50/50 Raffle – John Tabak

The Baltimore Chapter would like to thank Rosedale Gardens and Professional Touch Caterers for their excellent food and service.  They would also like to thank the following individuals and organizations for supporting the event with services and door prizes: Keystone Precision Instruments, Leica Geosystems, Caron-East, Tom Orisich (WBCM), Patrick Simon (MSS)
