DC CLEAN RIVERS PROJECT: The Clean Rivers Project is DC Water's ongoing program to reduce CSO's into the District's waterways - the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers and Rock Creek. The Project is a massive infrastructure program designed to capture and clean wastewater during rainfalls before it ever reaches our rivers. ABOUT OUR SPEAKER :
Seth Charde with DC Water is the senior manager for green infrastructure for the Clean Rivers Project. He will present a general overview of the Clean Rivers projects, including green infrastructure in the Rock Creek watershed and two massive combined sewage overflow (CSO’s) projects: the Piney Branch Tunnel and the Potomac River Tunnel. CREDITS : This talk covers a variety of surveying educational topics. DCALS will award certificates for 1 CPC — equivalent to 1 PDH or 1 CE-Unit Credit Hour — to every licensed attendee.

Friendship Heights station on Metro’s Red Line is right across Wisconsin Avenue. Street parking can be found in the residential neighborhood behind the restaurant – but limited to 2-hours.
