Survey PAC
The Maryland Society of Surveyors Survey Political Action Committee (Survey PAC) is the legal, ethical and professional way for membership organizations, such as MSS, to engage in our great political process.

How the PAC Works

The Survey PAC is a separate, segregated political fund that accepts voluntary, contributions from firms and individuals. The PAC uses those funds to support the campaigns of candidates for State office who support the surveying community.

An individual or corporation may contribute up to $6,000 per four (4) year gubernatorial cycle to the MSS PAC, according to Maryland election law. Personal, individual, or corporate contributions of any amount up to the limit are encouraged. A contribution of $10, $25, $50, $200 or more helps support the surveying profession.

By law, MSS resources for political purposes are limited. That is where the Survey PAC comes in. MSS must rely on the generous, voluntary, personal contributions of individuals, or corporate contributions from firms. Please contribute to the Survey PAC today.

Contributions to the MSS PAC are not deductible as charitable donations on Federal income tax returns.
